Sofia Marie Villaluna BA3-A Sir, Cariaga Activity 2: National Hero

The Philippine National Hero A national hero of the Philippines is a Filipino who has been honored for his or her contributions to the country's history, and there are far too many heroes who have given their lives to defend our country. And on November 15, 1995, the National Heroes Committee nominated the following nine people to be acknowledged as national heroes. Jose Rizal, a reformer writer, is regarded as the greatest Filipino hero. Andres Bonifacio y de Castro was one of the Kataas-taasang Pangulo Supreme President's founders. Emilio Aguinaldo y Famy was the Philippines' first and youngest president (1899–1901). Marcelo Hilario Del Pilar y Gatmaitán was a Filipino writer, lawyer, journalist, and freemason who lived from August 30, 1850 until July 4, 1896. He was a member of the Reform Movement in Spain, alongside Jose Rizal and Graciano López Jaena. Juan Luna de San Pedro y Novicio Ancheta was a Philippine Revolutionary War painter, sculptor, and political figure. Melchora Aquino de Ramos, a Filipina rebel, was dubbed "Tandang Sora" ("Elder Sora") due to her advanced age. Mara Josefa Gabriela Cario de Silang (19 March 1731 – 20 September 1763) was the Ilocano independence movement's first female leader. After her second husband Diego Silang was assassinated in 1763, she took over. Finally, the 7th Sultan of Maguindanao was Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat (1581– 1671). He fought against Spanish invasions and stopped the spread of Catholicism during his rule. Shariff Kabungsuwan, a Malay-Arab nobleman from Johor, was his direct ancestor. The Philippine Legislature passed Act No. 3827 on October 28, 1931, designating the last Sunday in August of each year as National Heroes Day. So I decided to be my own hero is General Antonio Luna, because he was a Filipino army general who fought in the Spanish–American War, Philippine

Revolution, and Philippine–American War before his assassination in 1899. Antonio Luna adores his people and his homeland, and he wants to defend both. General Luna was then given permission by Aguinaldo to handle the war. As a result, when American troops arrived from the Philippines, General Antonio Luna was prepared to assault. As a result, when the conflict broke out, General Luna mounted his horse and assaulted the American forces. As a result, the Philippine troops defend their general against the Americans, who retreat from the Philippine forces since they are closer to them, and the Americans return to their base. The Philippine troops were also relieved that the Americans had returned to their camp....
