Remember to put the comma after each period Reading Big numbers When you read a number that has more than three digits, start with the period on the left. Say the numbers in the period as a unit, followed by the next period. End with the ones period. For example: Four hundred fifty-six million, nine hundred eighty – seven thousand, one hundred twety-three
