Letter to parents XXY Chromosome...
WGS 100 Section 4
Assignment #11 Blank
3/11/19
Dear Blank, I have a few questions after reading your article. Since you stated that your partner clearly looked androgynous, how did you suspect and or learn that they had the XXY chromosome? I understand that you found on that you were unable to conceive as a result of their infertility, but did you suspect this due to the androgynous appearance of your partner? Another question I have is why do you suppose or say heterosexuality is a social construct? For thousands of years heterosexuality in many cultures has been seen as the only way to continue their family as in other types of relationships offspring is not possible. So why would you say heterosexuality is a social construct when it is embedded in our nature to reproduce? What do you identify as? Do you also have female genitalia but a XXY chromosome, because you mention “it’s a girl” did not fit you at birth....
