For Psych 111....
Dear Future Psych 111 Students, Congrats on getting into this class! It will teach you more about the world of Psychology than you knew existed and you will get so much more out of it than you put in. The five things that you will be most benefited by in relation to your completion of this class are as follows: 1.
Do as much reading as you can. Psychology is not just about putting in the correct answers, although that is kind of important. Learning about psychology for your own benefit should be first and foremost.
2. Always view the presentations that go along with the lesson. The book will not always give you all the answers. 3. Have fun with your field experiments. They are meant for both learning and fun. 4. Be sure not to wait until Saturday to complete all the assignments. Trust me when I say it takes a lot of stress out of your weekend when you just take an hour out of every Monday and Tuesday to dedicate to this class. 5. And lastly, try to integrate what you learn into your daily life. So many lessons I learned in this class applied and helped me to understand myself and those around me. Have Fun!
