02.01 The hurdle Story choice - the story i chose to read for this assignment is “of mice and men” and the author is john steinbeck Prediction - my prediction is, human rights is an issue, because in “Of Mice and Men” it relates to the main topic of mental handicap and how the main character in the story Lennie adheres to say handicap. Evidence - the reason I made that prediction is because Lennie is the main cause of himself and for George losing both of their jobs due to Lennie because of his disability. That was Lennie because he likes to pet soft things and he also did it to womens dresses and that was consisted inappropriate and due to that they lost their jobs and I can only imagine what kind of trouble they got into for doing that. Evidence - all the issues in mental health is discrimination and is a key point the book talks about because it will cover the everyday daily hassles and lennie had to deal with it. But there was also a lot of struggles and discrimnation to all mental handicap people that have to go through that....
