Novel: Hiroshima John Hersey's book Hiroshima described how the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki violated many people's human rights. There were many deaths related to nuclear radiation from the attacks. The US has taken many innocent lives in the past due to its actions. Based on a real-life event from World War II , Hiroshima examines the human rights issue of the atomic bombing by examining the casualties caused by the bombing.
