EVENT NAME: The Spanish Festival

EVENT ORGANIZER (which type of organisation are you):

WHAT: what is your event? What is it that people will do/experience at your event?

Spanish Food and Art Festival. People can experience local spanish foods, culture, local music and there are various performances that will be performed by volunteers.

WHY: why are you holding the event? What is its purpose?

To spread the Cultural awareness within the Australian community and promote the culture activities by Spanish people. Furthermore, keeping the Spanish traditions alive.

WHO: who is it directed at? Who will participate in/attend your event?

Spanish artists, performers, and people living in Australia. People who is interested in attending Spanish or cultural events will also likely to attend the event.

WHERE: where will you hold your event? What venue will best support the event? Why this venue?

We will hold the event at The Rocks near Harbour Bridge. We chose this venue because it is an open space and it gives a relaxing feel to its visitors. Furthermore, there are many similar events held in the same venue and The Rocks is known as one of the favourite place to visit in Sydney.

WHEN: when will you hold your event? What is the best season, day and time? Why this time/date?

During the last week of August, Since the main traditional event is held in Spain. We need to pick the similar time to celebrate it. Also, the weather is going to be a optimum temperature in Australia.

WOW:

It is unique and rare among the people living in Australia. The society gets to understand a different culture held in sydney and to be able to communicate with Spanish culture as well. It is also only held once a year. The Spanish culture is beautiful and different thus it should be celebrated.
