The author talks about various praises and positive attributes of the lover. The tone selection is approval since the author is trying to approve of his love and affection towards the lover. One of the praises that the author talks about in the poem is, “You have soft hands” (Olzmann 8). The author gives positive attributes that attract him to the lover.
