Care Scenario # - Name of Patient - 2-page Summary Submitted By: Student Name (Student #) Instructions for 2-page Summaries:  Each student is required to individually submit a 2 page (maximum) summary of their assigned care scenarios and the summaries should address each of the objectives within their scenario  These 2-page summaries will be graded according to the criteria outlined in the grading guidelines  Summaries are to be posted by each student on the A2L Assignments Tool by the deadline indicated in the tutorial schedule  Include at least 3 references, one must be a peer reviewed article (primary journal, up-to-date, etc...) and both in-text citations and a reference list at the end of the 2-page summary must be in APA style  The point form summary should not exceed 2 pages (this does not include the references)  Suggested Format - Times New Roman or Arial Font, Font Size 12, 1 inch margins  Late summaries will be deducted 5% for each late day of submission, weekdays and weekends included (-eg- 1 day late means that a student can only receive 95% on their 2-page summary, but if they have not handed in their summary when the Grand Rounds begin, they will receive a mark of 0%), unless appropriate documentation has been provided to Dr. Hannon  Please see the template for the 2-page summary below: OBJECTIVE #1 - What is the objective?  Point #1 (Reference)  Ideally, students should have no more than 5 major points/concepts per objective  Each point/concept should be described in 1 or 2 sentences, no paragraphs (-eg- 20-30 words per sentence should be the goal)  This format will help you create your PowerPoint presentations OBJECTIVE #2 - What is the objective?  Point #1 (Reference)  Point #2  Point #3  Etc OBJECTIVE #3 - What is the objective?  Point #1 (Reference)  Point #2  Point #3  Etc OBJECTIVE #4 - What is the objective?  Point #1 (Reference)  Point #2  Point #3  Etc
