4-2 Final Project Milestone Two a. My sample size is n=21 Due to the sample size I will have consequences that will affect my analyses and reporting of my results.. My sample size is relatively small and is considered a convenience sample. The con to that is that smaller samples give weaker and less reliable conclusions so I may not know if my results are accurate and credible. b. The statistical procedure I chose was the paired sample t-test. I chose the paired sample t-test for a few reasons. First being that there are two different groups identified, (a) students using the aroma and completing the maze and (b) students not smelling the aroma and completing the maze. Second is that the question of the study is to identify if the groups have a difference in the end result. The question of the study is to see whether pleasant aromas help a student learn better or not, so what us being testes the amount of time it takes the students to complete a maze before and after smelling the pleasant aroma. c. statistical procedures can help me determine whether the data is attributable to chance factors. For example a t-test will help me determine that by finding my value for the test and find the differences between the group means. D .For the unscented data set µ=53.9238095 and σ= 17.145813 For the scented data µ= 55.5333333 and σ= 14.3050807 e. see excel file f. The shape of the histogram scented trial shows a bell shape curve which means it has a normal distribution of data. In the unscented trial it shows a skewed right which means it is positvley skewed. It has a large number of occurrences in the lower value cells and less in the higher value cells....
