Phillip Pearlstien, Chuck Close. Both artist give you the feeling as if they left no mark at all. Which I like. Drawings as a noun: Images that exist as product or as process

4. How can a drawing be defined as both a “VERB” and a “NOUN”?

When the drawing is vulnerable to preconception but is bold with it's subject. If the artist acts on spring of the moment,yet has premeditated ideas of what to draw.

5. Which of these drawing processes are you most drawn to aesthetically? Why?

I prefer drawing as a verb. With a noun you can really bring to focus a subject, with or with out leaving your mark. But drawing as a verb allows you to draw the viewer in to the whole work instead of a single subject....
