C. Discussion

Shape has different number of sides. So in this picture we have different shapes.

So this is triangle! Triangle has three sides. (The children are counting the sides) And second one is circle! Circle has only one side.

And this one is a square! The square has 4 sides!

And this is rectangle it has 4 sides also, it’s like a really long square.

And this is a Heart! It has a really lovely shape.

And this is a star! It has 5 pointy arms.

And lastly is a diamond! It also has 4 sides.

Did you get it class? Yes Teacher Michael! Very good! Now I will show you different pictures, and all you have to do is identify the object and you’ll tell me what shapes is it!

The first picture is!? What is it? Pizza teacher!

What shape is it? How did you know that it is a triangle? Very good! So this pizza is a triangle!
