Child’s Name: Child F Age: 6 Years Old Observer: Jale Asan Date: December 6th, 2018 Child F opened the door for the customer and welcome her by saying, “Hi!”. Customer said, “I am ready to order!” Child F walked through the customer’s table. Child F said, “What do you like to eat?”. Customer said “Fish”. Child F said “Okay”.

Interpretations
Child F seems to demonstrate an interest to play with the educator. She was looking happy, socially interacting and communicating with the educator by taking her order.
It seems that Child F was practicing script concepts because she was pretending to write letters. Child F displays a good understanding of alphabetic letters.
Child F grabbed a pencil, mini notebook and a menu from her desk. Child F repeated, “One Fish.” Child F wrote something on her notebook. Child F said, “What else do you want?” The customer said, “A cookie”. Child F said, “We don’t have a cookie, we have donuts!”. The customer said, “Okay, I would like to have a donut please.”

The customer tried to pay the bill with her card, but Child F said, “The card is not working. Try and tap your card or swipe the card from the other side.”
Child F seems to demonstrate curiosity, by pretending to be a restaurant owner. She looks very happy....
