Laboratory Tests blood test to rule out hypo/hyperthyroidism
clients exhibit uncontrollable/excessive anxiety states for 6 mos+, impairment in one or more areas of functioning (work, school, etc) manifestations: restlessness, excessive worry, palpitations, increased BP
Diagnostic Procedures CT scan, MRI (best way to diagnose is using DSM-5, interviewing and assessment scales)
PATIENT-CENTERED CARE
Nursing Care provide safety and comfort, perform assessment scales (Hamilton A & suicide risk), teach relaxation techniques
Therapeutic Procedures relaxation techniques, breathing techniques, cognitive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy
