Both ended up being very well known Baroque composers. Differences 1. Handel lived approximately nine years longer than Bach. 2. Handel was the first musician to have a biography. 3. Johann Sebastian Bach wrote two books: The Well- Tempered Clavier, and the art of Fugue. 4. Bach was able to be married and had a large number of children whereas Handel swore to abstinence. 5. Handel had to secretly study music (up in his attic with a keyboard) because he knew his father would not approve.
