CLASS AND TUTORIAL SCHEDULE Section Day Time Location Instructor E-mail Tu, 10:15AMGhazanfarah Lecture [email protected] Thu 11:30PM Hafeez Tutorial Tu 1:15PM- InBikram Patra [email protected] 3:05PM person Tutorial Thu 1:15PMAvirup Sarkar [email protected] 3:05PM Marker: COURSE OBJECTIVE The student will learn a general review about the classification of structures, stability, static determinacy and equilibrium of plane structures. The analysis of forces and displacements in determinate structures using both equilibrium and energy-based solution techniques will be discussed. In addition, the student will learn to calculate reactions and construct shear force, bending moment rotation and displacement diagrams using mathematical relations and energy methods for various types of structures including beams, frames and trusses. PREREQUISITE ENGR 244 “Mechanics of Materials”
