Black Men and Public Space This article was confusing to me, it started out as thinking the writer was a killer or rapist or something like that but then it ended like he was just a regular human being. I guess that is the sad part and that is what he was trying to show. You would think not even in these times like today that this kind of stuff would not happen, but it still does racism is so strong today still. You can go out walking and if your skin color is not white everyone looks at you different. They think of you differently they react differently around you. Its very sad and frustrating but it happens. I think this author was really trying to prove that he was just an ordinary guy and he wasn’t going to do anything wrong but because of his skin color he was looked at weirdly and people were terrified of him because they thought he was going to get hurt. It is a very strong article and very sad and true....
