1.) What does Moore suggests are the advantages of the health care systems in Britain and France? 2.) What other government benefits does Moore identify as provided to French citizens? 3.) Do you share Moore's positive view of government distribution of these types of benefits? Why or why not? Some of the advantages of the health care systems in Britain include free emergency room visits, completely free health care and low rate or free drugs at pharmacies. If one was under 16 or over 65, any medicine needed is free and anyone between those ages only pays $10, no matter the amount or type of drug. In France, citizens can have doctors come to their home for house calls all free of charge. British hospitals will even pay the patients if they need transportation home from the hospital. French citizens are given a minimum of five weeks paid time off to use for vacations, and are able to get even more time added onto that. I would say I share Moore’s boasting enthusiasm over government’s distribution to it’s people. I believe that providing free health care should be done, as well as education and other such benefits. When Moore interviewed a former Parliament member, I completely agreed with his statement that if

the government can find money and afford to go to war, then they can find and afford money to provide for their citizens....
