The cardiovascular system is composed of the heart and all blood vessels and blood. Blood vessels include: artery( gives us oxygen), veins, and capillary. We Inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Vena cava vein (return blood from the heart to the body) –found on the right side of the heart – Chamber # 1 right atrium Chamber # 2 right ventricle Chamber # 2 left atrium Arteries carry blood away from the heart. Capillaries exchange nutrients/waste. Veins carry blood to heart. Blood flows from chamber to chamber
