This business has been established by Bryan Loo. He started the Tealive Malaysia in 2017 right after the issue between the franchiser from Chatime Malaysia, La Kaffa. Before he started the Tealive, he opens his first tea outlet under the franchise of Chatime and It has been started in 2010 which is they only managed the single store. The small store was opened in Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur. The Loob Holdings was the only assets that of him at that time, and it became one of the factors for him to do at his best in managing the Chatime. He could lead the franchise of Chatime in the region of Asia and it has been proven by he has succeed to open about 100 outlets but unfortunately the owner of Chatime Malaysia, La Kaffa has endeed their collaboration with the Loob Holdings. After the issue happened, he has moved on and decided to open his own business which Tealive Malaysia. The initial capital to run his new business was RM480,000 and he gained more than RM10 Billion profits by monthly. He has branding his business to the few countries such as Philippines, United Kingdom, Vietnam and etc. One of the reason he has opened this company because to make sure the tea café has the same line with coffee café at its own track. For example, he wanted to create a tearista as same as the coffee café had their own barista. There are 600 stores that he has succeed to manage and more than 2000 staffs that were working with him. The biggest achievement has achieved as he managed to create such a big team to ensure his company has a stabil financial for the future planning to gain more profits. He got the motivation and full support from his supportive father, Loo Chu Lin who also involved in air-conditioner business. His dad always shared his experience especially when it comes to his challenges in managing the business. His wife also played such a big role by helping him in managing this business. He will make sure all the customers of Tealive would be happy and satisfied for the services given. In addition, he also got some awards that has been proven for his successful journey. One of the best awards he has achieved is the Best Master Franchise in 2012 and also got the title of “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year” at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur in 2013. The other award was Best Employers Brands Awards in 2019. One of his goals for the future is he wanted his own company will be conquered the F&B (Foods and Beverages) industry at all around the world.

1.0 INTRODUCTION The main objective of this study is to expose about the real business and the ways of the owner in managing their business especially when it comes to face any challenges and problems in certain situation. Next. It could help the students to have their own confidences in joining the scope of business and it is also can to help the students who were already manage their own small business to gain more income. Besides, the importance of knowing the ways in managing the business could help the students to always being creative, innovative and thinking out of the box for every product created. Students would be able to gain more knowledge that could be improved and also could motivate ourselves to become a better entrepreneur. They also could identify the storms that affected to the owner of the business until they could have achieved the success. Not to be forgotten, the entrepreneurs also need to share some useful tips that could help the students to apply in real life because the life in managing the business was not easy as expected. Everything in business activity must be done by perfectly and well-planned to achieve the target.

WORKING EXPERIENCE: In standards 1, he draws the comic books series and rent all of it to his members. At the end of standards 1, he has made RM1000 as profits and after he has finished his degree, he worked in 2 biotech companies for 3 years. He is specialized in stem cell and medical market research. He stopped to lead the franchises of Chatime in Asian region that has opened for 100 outlets within 3 years. TYPES OF BUSINESS: Food & Beverages INITIAL CAPITAL: RM480,000 NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES: 2000+ staffs NUMBER OF OUTLETS: 534 stores ESTABLISHED YEAR: 2017 COMMENCEMENT OF BUSINESS: Already flew away the brand to the international which is Philippines, United Kingdom, Australia, Brunei, Myanmar, Vietnam and etc. BUSINESS HISTORY: Started from the franchiser of Chatime, La Kaffa after he has ended the collaboration between the Loob Holdings, then he has moved on and decided to open his own business which is Tealive.

2.0 ENTREPRENEURIAL CHARACTERISTICS 1. TRUST HIMSELF OR HIGH SELF CONFIDENCE This has been proven when he decided to transfer his profession in biotechnology to become an entrepreneur. He has been graduated in Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Monash University, Australia and been worked in 2 companies for 3 years. He is specialized in stem cell and medical market research. After that, he has convinced himself to start his own business. He has thought for a long-term and did the research carefully in which to find the suitable area for him to open up his first outlet that is relevant for his product. Next, he has flown away to Vietnam to find out a brilliant idea to open the teahouse. Finally, he decided to open his first tea outlet under the franchise of Chatime in the Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur. The business has been started in 2010 with the small store which is 150sq feet. However, it could not be their biggest problems in managing the company and even to reach their mission to become one of the top entrepreneur in Malaysia. All of his effort have been paid off when he managed to open about 100 outlets and could lead the franchise of Chatime in the region of Asia within 3 years. It was become his biggest achievement that he has achieved as an entrepreneur. When the issue happened between La Kaffa who the owner of franchiser of Chatime with the Loob Holdings to end up their collaboration together, he was felt sad but it could not make him to stop on something that he has been sacrificed to achieve the successful. Then, he decided to open his own business and that was the way of Tealive Malaysia been created in 2017. His confidence has been built in himself and moved on to make a preparation for his own company in a very short period within two months. He was not afraid for taking any possible risks and grab this chance to ensure that he could achieve more than on the things that he has already achieved.

2. A MAN OF GREAT DETERMINATION Since he was kid, he has already learned to get money by himself. When he was seven, he was making his own comic series and rent it to all of his friends. He will get about RM3-RM4 from his business. He was using the money as the initial capital to buy any useful things such as the stationeries kit that could be sold to all of his friends. His determination could be identified in himself by he has managed all those kind of business at a very young age. He has achieved RM1000 of net profits from all the business that has been done in a day before he has turned eight years old. His efforts and spirits have been instilled in himself because he became such a brave boy in managing certain business. He also been thought of the box to produce such a quality product that can be sell. He did not to stop his determination not only in business. He continues with his journey to start his own business. He was become workaholic in generating such a great and brilliant ideas for a good sake of his company. Every effort from himself could leads to the high profits. The Loob Holdings was the only assets when he worked for the franchise of Chatime and he has got few awards when he was managing that company. All his hard works and struggles have been paid off. Every awards that he has achieved were valuable in boosting his spiritual of business. Unfortunately, an issue happened between La Kaffa that decided to end up their collaboration with the Loob Holdings but he has insisted to not waste his time in making decision to open his own business by using all the knowledge and experience that has been gained. He determined to open the teahouse named as Tealive Malaysia and it has been become one of the famous products in the sector of Foods and Beverages (F&B) at all around the world.
