EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This is an attempt to understand how theories may be put into practise. Everyone at UiTM Arau is required to do a case study assignment as part of their studies. So, for this purpose, I was able to conduct research into a firm that produced the same product that I want to design, which is the Primada pressure cooker company, which is now situated in Malaysia. The company's general information was collected in the first section of the project report. Primary and secondary sources are also used to acquire information. The specialised subject study is included in the report's second section. The project's goal is to improve the pressure cooker's history, organisational structure, products, and services. Next, I make research about the Primada pressure cooker's technology, which is essentially a standard pressure cooker technology, as well as the company's commercial, marketing, and operational plan for promoting their goods, which I find fascinating. Finally, I investigate the company's financial successes in terms of how they manage their finances and the results they obtain via financial management. Goals describe what a company aims to accomplish. A strategy is a plan of action for achieving a set of objectives. Every company must devise a plan for attaining its objectives, which includes a marketing strategy as well as successful management. In this case study, I used SWOT analysis to examine the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the real world.

1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background of The Study In order to select an appropriate topic for a case study, a crucial feature of which is to identify a product with substantial potential for innovation, I decided that studying a product that many people require would be the most beneficial. Given the craziness of today's world, it only makes sense to address something that is quick and uncomplicated. In this case, a pressure cooker. Common pressure cookers without electricity are traditionally difficult to use on a daily basis, as they take a long time to prepare. In a hectic day, I needed to spend a few hours cooking one dish, so the idea came to me. A solution is now required which is the very reason for composing this study and its following innovation process. 1.2 Problem Statement Today's pressure cooker market is fairly huge, and its range is quite extensive. The issue with this product is not its market saturation, but rather its ability to adapt to the demands of its clients. Whether we look at Primada, Noxxa, or any other rivals who market comparable items, the overall principle is mostly the same. A standard pressure cooker features a common lid, manual valve, and manual setup. This is where my concept comes in, which is meant to improve the supplied product by changing the lid, valve, colour, and processing procedure. This is only one aspect the current concept is missing to generate more market share and satisfy customers properly. 1.3 Purpose of The Study The goal of the case study is to have complete access to the specifics of this product and its firm in order to identify the product's shortcomings in terms of features that can be used to come up with the best implementation of the innovations that will be added to the provided problem. The purpose of this study is to have an evaluation in a wide notion of innovation that incorporates technological advancements that can assist the product run smoothly and without neglecting any components. As a result, the case study should look at the situation from all angles in order to give all of the necessary information for a successful business strategy.

2.4 Technology A pressure cooker is a closed container that captures the steam produced while the contents are heated. Pressure rises as steam accumulates, pushing the boiling point of water over 212°F. In general, a higher temperature reduces cooking times and extracts flavour more efficiently from foods due to a lack of evaporation. How Primada’s pressure cooker works. 1. Add food & liquid in the pot. 2. Close lid, ensure valve is at the correct position. 3. Select pressure setting (cooking program and time). 4. Wait for the pressure to build up inside the pot. 5. Starts cooking under pressure, the screen will display the cook time countdown. 6. Release pressure.

The ideal gas law: The "ideal gas law," which covers the behaviour of most gases under most situations, may be used to explain the pressure cooker. PV = nRT is a popular formula. P denotes pressure, V denotes volume, T denotes temperature, n denotes the quantity of a specific gas (represented as a number of particles), and R denotes a constant (the ideal gas constant). The volume (V) of the closed chamber of a pressure cooker does not vary at first. Second, because R is a constant, it does not vary. Third, the chamber has a maximum pressure that is controlled by a valve system. T rises when the pressure cooker warms the meal and as T increases, something else must increase to balance the equation. Since V is constant, it is more than likely that pressure (P) increases as well. Pressure can also be explained by the fact that when the system warms up, more energy is provided to water vapour molecules, causing them to bounce around and collide randomly with one other and the container's walls. Based on the "kinetic model of gases," the force of these impacts on the walls is one definition of pressure.

2.5 Business, marketing, operational strategy

The goal of the Primada is “with strict management system to ensure that every product produced with excellent quality, to create a unique value, as the world’s most authoritative health kingdom”. Thus, this company always take consideration on services for target customers rather than worrying about competitors surround. One of the main marketing strategies of this brand is by choosing to cooperate with Astro. Through this shopping channel, there are so many people will get to know about this product and by the promotion customer will be more interested by watching the demonstrations showed by the host. Their other marketing strategies is Primada use the media social such as Instagram, twitter, Facebook, YouTube and so on to promote their brand. Primada sell their product through Astro Go Shop with affordable price and a lot of interesting offers is one of the operational strategies. The viewers are easy to choose any product and buy from the home and they just need to wait the product arrives to them. They also cooperate with many shopping platforms such as Shopee, Lazada so the customer can buy in any shopping platform that they like. So, the customers do not need to go to the shop and choose one buy one. These operational strategies will save their time and more convenient to the customer.

4. FINDING AND DISCUSSION 4.1 Findings Based on the findings of the study, I can say that this company might face some problems in the future regarding the competitiveness of the product. They should do some changes in their operation system, the colour and top up their pressure cooker technologies. The Primada pressure cooker has many buttons that have many uses such as for timing, cooking, and setting. People just have to press a button to prepare a meal. Even when in cooking process the button still can be use and function. This can be a safety issue when someone especially a child presses a button without observation from an adult. The set up can be changed and the cooking process will be disrupted or may cause serious problems and accidents if children press a button to open the lid. This pressure cooker is useful and help in cooking process to be fastest, but it also can be dangerous if someone forget or don’t know how to use the pressure cooker. This is because after the cooking time is done, the pressure in the pressure cooker must be release first before removing the lid. This is because whenever a liquid under pressure is depressurized suddenly, the gases contained in the liquid or steam, will expand rapidly. So, if the pressure did not release, the contents of the pressure cooker can explode when the lid is removed. This incident was happened in a few years ago when a woman forgot to open the valve pressure then the pressure cooker was exploded and caused the burnt to her skin. The process using pressure cooker is the best innovation to short the time of cooking and there is a lot of companies have their own pressure cooker with same function. The appearance of the pressure cooker is almost same in term of the colour or the design itself. The customer also will get bored with same colour of the pressure cooker. Actually, Primada had released the 2 types of different colour which is pink and mint green, but the colour is too bold and the other one is too soft. So, the company should make the suitable colour that will attract customer attention to buy the product

4.2 Discussion From the findings there are three main problems that must be solved to ensure good product quality. The first problem that was listed is the button of the pressure cooker can be misused by children. They can press any button they like without knowing the possibility of an incident could occur. The second problem is the valve pressure did not open. If someone opens the lid without releasing the valve pressure, it can cause an explosion The last problem is that the appearance of the pressure cooker is a bit dull because the colour is almost the same as other brands. The solution for the first problem is by create the safety child lock. The function of the button is to lock all the button while in cooking the process. The customer can lock the control panel by pressing down on the 'Child lock' button for three seconds. This automatically locks the operation panel, ensuring there is no misuse from children during the cooking procedure. Then to unlock it just need to press the 'Child lock' button again for another 3 seconds. This can prevent from any bad incident happen even the children press any button, so the parents do not have to worry about the safety of their children The next solution for the second problem is by introduced the new features which is the automatic valve system. This system can help the customer who forgot to open the valve pressure because with this system they do not need to open it after the cooking time ended. The system operates by automatic open valve when the time cooking is end and the valve automatic close when all the steam is released. This is a good innovation as not many brands have this system so competitors will be reduced. The last solution is by changing the colour of the pressure cooker with something new and fresh. Colour is one of the reasons in making the pressure cooker become more special because the colour can attract the psychology of someone. This brand can change the colour from the common colour that always be used likes black, siler and red to turquoise colour. This colour is like the blue sea colour and give the calmness mood, so this colour will make the customer especially women will fall in love with this pressure cooker. But the terms of cons may be that for some people who don’t like this colour they will never choose this pressure cooker.

5. RECOMMENDATION AND IMPOVEMENT The chosen alternative solution that can be adopted into the product is Primada should introduce the automatic valve system. The solution is chosen because this system is very important to make sure the pressure cooker is one of the advance pressure cookers in the market. This is because this technology helps in various ways such as safety and time. Primada should create this system as this is not because of competitors only but also to ensure no accidents occur while using this pressure cooker. So, this can make customers trust our products even if these products are not as well-known as other brands. Sometimes a company’s reputation is important to attract buyers. The automatic valve system can solve the major problems by three safety valves that allow excess pressure to escape. The automatic self-locking mechanism, along with this three-valve safety system, prevents someone from opening the pot before all the pressure is released so this can eliminate any possibility of explosion. This also can save the time. The customer doesn’t need to open the valve manually and must wait the steam released for a few second. With the technology the customer doesn’t have to do the same work open and wait but they just need to open the pot and enjoy the food. Furthermore, in this Covid-19 era people most of the time stay at home and they also scared to go out even for eat. So, the company should take this opportunity to transform the pressure cooker with advance system to attract the attention of the customer. When people stay at home, they would like to cook and as everyone knows people also have to work at home so for the parents that have to work, they still need to make a dish for their family. So, they will need something that can help them to cook in simplest way at the same time they don’t have to worry about the safety of the family because with the auto valve system the usage of pressure cooker will be safe.

6. CONCLUSION Nakada company has managed to perform a transition from a small business into a quite large business with many brands such as Primada, Nakada and Cuoco. This company has providing plenty of products on the market, which are known for their huge variety of product, good service, and a lot of advertisement. There are three problem that was point out from the Primada pressure cooker. The problem was identified by looking the trend of the pressure cooker and by the advance technology. The first problem is the pressure cooker is not child friendly, the children can press any button in cooking procedure.
