Western Culture Western culture, sometimes equated with Western civilization, Western lifestyle or European civilization, is a term used very broadly to refer to a heritage of social norms, ethical values, traditional customs, belief systems, political systems, and specific artifacts and technologies that have some origin or association with Europe.

The Philippine value system consists of a distinct set of ideas, moral norms, ethical practices, etiquette, and cultural and personal values that are promoted by the Philippine society. C. On the other hand, when can this concept of Filipino "self" be a negative trait? In general, Filipinos are known for being happy, friendly, and very hospitable people, and we are known for all of these good qualities all over the world.
