Answer the following questions in relation to the case study provided. Case study (questions 1–6) Gloria works casually for a support agency providing home care for people with disabilities. She had her induction training last week conducted by her supervisor and found it very interesting and informative. Gloria is keen to start working with people requiring support and this week she will go into a home to assist Belinda, who has a physical and intellectual disability. Belinda required assistance with her personal care including showering and dressing; and washing her clothes and other household activities such as cleaning, shopping and preparing food. Gloria is mindful to use her training as she assists Belinda in these activities.
On her first day Gloria realises she has no disposable gloves or disinfectant available to handle the washing of some soiled clothing. Gloria is immediately panicked that she will not be able to perform her job on her first day at work when she is under probation for the first three months of employment.
