Outcomes/Evaluation Collecting a sterile urine specimen correctly is important to allow the results to process accurately during culture and sensitivity testing
Potential Complications sterile field may be broken during catheter insertion Not enough urine is collected Patient may not have abililty to allow for ease of access to collect specimen (contractures, etc.)
