Kofé came from a Russian word meaning “coffee” and de Libréré from Latin meaning “from library” which is the main theme of our business. The business created a unique brand name for the products to get the attention and to leave a mark to the customers.

Introduction Waking up and smelling coffee is an effective way to get the day started. The rich and satisfying smell of coffee could make you feel relaxed and energized. Nowadays, students and business workers tend to devote their time on their work in order for them

to

finish

their

agendas

that

they

forget

how

relaxation

is

important.Furthermore, According to Kris Gunnars, B. (2018) Coffee has 13 health benefits. It can improve energy levels and make you smarter (Caffeine blocks an inhibitory neurotransmitter in your brain, which causes a stimulant effect. This improves energy levels, mood and various aspects of brain function), it can help you burn fat, (Several studies show that caffeine can increase fat burning and boost your metabolic rate), it can drastically improve physical performance, (Caffeine can increase adrenaline levels and release fatty acids from your fat tissues. It also leads to significant improvements in physical performance), it can fight depression and make you happier (Coffee appears to lower your risk of developing depression and may dramatically reduce suicide risk), and many more. Kofé de Libréré would be the best place to unwind and loosen up along with a cup of coffee and freshly baked pastries. Kofe de Librere is a small, sole proprietor type of coffee shop, located in Cavite State University - Main Campus, near the University Mall, making the people (especially the students) of Indang, Cavite as the target market. The business is owned and operated by Ms. Hazel Marie de Guzman. The business operates 24 hours a day from Mondays to Saturdays and is close every Sundays. It offers variety of bite-sized pastries, pasta, snacks, beverages, and other services. It does not only offer pastries but also comfortable ambiance of our establishment as well as our members’ friendly and courteous services. The inviting environment of Kofé de Libréré could be also a best place for doing school works, office works, or informal meetings for it also provide other services

such as printing and photocopy needed mostly by students and office workers. Kofé de Libréré is confident in meeting the demands of the customer whether they are looking for different freshly baked pastries, beverages, and a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

Expected Accomplishments: Kofé de Libréré is determined to be the number one coffee for local coffee addicts and soon, the whole country. The business also aims to be a place for escape from daily stress of life and a comfortable place to meet your friends or to peacefully read a book. We expect the growing demand of the café’s high-quality coffee and great service as the coffee shop makes its way to the top and build branches throughout the country. Kofé de Libréré takes advantage of its strategic location, near Cavite State University Main campus, to build more loyal customers. We will offer to the customers the best coffee in the area that will be complimented with delicious food, as well as free book rent that its patrons can read to enjoy the visit. The coffee shop expects to crater wider range of customers, and with that, continuous research will be a requirement. Kofè de Libréré expects increase of sales revenue from 584,000 pesos in 2018 to 706,000 pesos in year 2019. The coffee shop will strive to maintain a 65% gross profit margin and reasonable operating expenses. The net profits should grow from 100,000 pesos to 125,000 pesos during the same period.

Indicators of Achievement 1. Increase of product demand. Due to the popularity of the business, more students are patronizing the product, especially the coffee. Since Kofé de Libréré is located near the campus and is open for 24 hours, the business is the perfect place where customers, students or professionals, stay to do their work. 2. Positive response of the market. Since the café is operating for years now, the business continuously receives good feedbacks from the customers. Loyal customers are increasing in number because the business manages to serve good quality products for an affordable price. 3. Upgraded equipment. For years, the business had been able to upgrade their equipment due to good profit. 4. Purchase of land. Kofé de Libréré was able to buy a land since they generated enough profit from the operations.
