CR Yield Engineer Job Description In this position, you will be responsible for Yield improvement, modeling ramp; methodology development, controlling introduction of technology changes, monitoring in line defect performance, finding root cause for in line defect excursion and implementing fixes to address yield issues. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Monitoring Virtual Factory and/or local site yield performance and helping prioritize yield work within the factory. Own yield improvement roadmap and work with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions to yield issues. Supporting in-depth analysis on key processes, excursions, defect failure and interfacing directly with other organizations such as Fab Sort, Assembly Test Finish Development, Test Ops, for process health indicator improvements. Identifying and driving design fix, module fixes and fab issues through commonality analysis. Performing baseline yield prediction. Working closely with internal groups such as Product Engineering, Assembly, Test and Finish Engineering and QnR to ensure strong and consistent focus is applied across all factory modules.

Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this Search by job, location or keyword position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum qualifications The candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in the fields of Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics, Material Science or related technical degree. Strong engineering fundamentals, solid knowledge in development methodology. Must have experience in quality: tracking health indicator improvements. Strong statistical data analysis experience. Data extraction, analysis and scripting skills. (E.g. Excel, SQL) English 70% (Intermediate) The candidate is required to have proven track record of problem solving while dealing with ambiguity and changing environment. Product/process issue, ability to track issues and drive them to resolution at all levels of the organization. Preferred qualifications 2-3 years of experience of Manufacturing and Process Engineer background.
