Date of Experiment: Date of Submission: September 3, 2015 September 10, 2015 EXPERIMENT NO. 5: Creativity Abstract The experiment was done to measure how well the subject can formulate a new word with a given scrambled set of letters called anagrams. The experiment has 2 parts for its procedure and the subject will be given 4 minutes to form as many words as possible in each words for both parts. The first part contains anagrams with scrambled letters while the second part contains anagrams as words that is both presented to the subject. The time that the first word is written is recorded for the purpose of comparison in terms of its difficulty, speed of thinking of it and how frequently the word is used. The result showed that Part II which consists of words elicited difficulty for the subject. Keyword: Anagrams Introduction There has been growing number of studies about creativity in responding words by the use of anagrams. Creativity is defined as a way of making brand new ideas or concept that could make something unique and meaningful.
