its summary on cat6 and cat5 cables...

Description

Is Cat6 working with Cat5? When customers upgrade their technology and thus their network infrastructure, are we always asked to work with Cat6 cables? This depends, however, on whether the questions are physical or technical. Each cable hardware is customized physically for all Cat5, Cat6 and Cat6a elements What is a connect and infrastructure for data cabling? The complete connection of a computer cable link is given below 1. A patch panel housed in the cabinet of data 2. Real cabling of the machine from the office to the unit o

Cables which attach the data switch from the patch panel

Whether in Cat5, cat6 or cat6a, all of these elements will thus have the same termination and outlets as usual, irrespective of whether you have any of them. The norm is known as RJ45. In addition, Cat7 and Cat8 wiring components may operate in the lower categories, but they have other connectors that do not ft the overall solution with the Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a devices. Data Cabling and its lowest ranking The problem is that the overall performance of the data cabling system is only as low as the weakest component of any device cabling network. Thus, if the infrastructure contains a Cat5 portion, the total system is rated Cat5. Thus you can fnd the following examples in the overall device cabling relation elements.

Cat5e Patch Leads The overall connection will work together in this case. The overall linking rate will however be only Cat5e, while Cat6 cable and connectors make up 75 percent of components. The same will also be true for any mixture between Cat5e and Cat6 of these elements. It is still classifed in the bottom group. In addition, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7, and Cat8 are mixed in the same way. Their weakest component often reduces. What is the situation we usually see? It is exactly the same as in the illustration above where the most common condition is shown. An overall cabling device (i.e., Cat6a) is installed by a customer, who then either buys an undergrad patch lead (i.e. Cat6) or purchases a lower grade patch to save money. Thus, the higher grade and cost total cabling network is reduced immediately to a lower alternative On the contrary, customers buy Cat6 patches, which does not enhance overall efficiency, can be used on their Cat5e network. Unfortunately, it is also often seen where the systems and modules Cat6 are mounted. That's so the customer can see them. The installer used the Cat5e cable to link everything together, thus saving cable costs without knowledge of customers. It is difficult to explain what Cat5e is and what a Cat6 cable is from a fast look unless the customer knows what to look for. What is the difference between the various types of computer cable?

The overall selection of IT cables will depend on • Specifcations for link speed (1 gigabit, 10 gigabit) • Facilities in existence • Building and space construction Cat6a needs more trunking and space to be mounted, for instance. • Cost / budget The decision should in the frst instance be based on the connection criteria you need. It makes absolutely no sense to have 10 gigabits for your PC's link, and instal Cat5e afterwards because it will never work. The remaining elements are then implemented to design and execute the right structure for building and budget.

Summary: Cat6-cables work with cat5 In short, the questions are answered 1. Indeed, Cat5 and Cat6, Cat6a and Cat6a, Cat7 will work together. 2. But the higher grade elements still are reduced to the lower elements; they won't perform to the desired level When planning an upgrade, we are always willing to inform and take a look at existing data cabling systems. We can then describe what can be kept and what needs to be upgraded. Combining the design into a general suggestion and quotation...
