SMART GOAL / Dunk a basketball / Specific: fully dunk a basketball on a 10-foot rim Measurable: must be able to have more than a 30 inch vert and slam the ball on a 10 foot rim Attainable: first I will research as much as I can on how to become more athletic to be able to dunk, which will mean I will be researching proper nutrition, exercise, and finding a good schedule. I then will work on my schedule with consistency so that I will be able to see results at a maximum of a couple months. And every week or two I will practice dunking with a tennis ball, and once dunked with a tennis ball I will practice dunking with an actual basketball. Realistic: The opportunity costs that I will need to make when working on my goal is the amount of time I waste on video games, tv, and my phone. I need to sacrifice these things because I will start to need more time working on my workouts and exercises for my goal. Also junk food such as cake and chips will become an opportunity cost since I can’t be eating sloppy, and I need to get a lower body fat percentage to be able to jump higher. Time Bound: If I’m consistent with my schedule, my goal should be completed around the end of October, to beginning of December....
