Summary

Giving my thoughts on Dancing With The Stars season 25 episode 2 and picking the best and worst pair of the week....

Description

Dancing with the stars – Week 2 Week 2 of Dancing with the stars consisted of absolute and utter brilliance from all the contestants compared to the average week 1 performance from them. Ballroom dancing, Latin dancing and Waltz are one of my favorite genres of dancing and I’ve watched and practiced Waltz myself for the past couple of years so I can quite fairly say when there’s a good performance or a bad performance. And honestly, I found most of the couples did an exceptional job this week. I felt they all worked harder and put their 110% on the stage because after week 1 they know impressing the 3 judges is no easy task! And hopefully they all continue the same performance as this week and don’t slack off. Even though I mentioned that all of them did a brilliant job; I did think that one of the couple were just par. I felt Derek and Sharna were that couple this week and could definitely improve next week onwards. After watching mostly all the couples perform some spectacular dance routines in week 2, I just automatically expected more as the show went on. Derek and Sharna came in towards the end and I just needed more from them. They didn’t really have me in awe like how the other couples did. Derek and Sharna performed a Foxtrot dance routine which wasn’t horrible but at the same time it wasn’t that great or catchy for me. Their dance routine was way too slow and a bit boring to be honest. I kind of just wanted it to get over. Their moves were a bit off and definitely not synchronized. I felt Derek got a bit nervous (probably because of his mom being in the audience) and started slowing down on his pace towards the middle of their routine. But even with all that going on I think Sharna did a good job. For me, Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev’s Waltz routine just simply took my breath away. I think they are definitely a couple to look out for this season! I feel that their chemistry is

out of this world and they clearly showed it this week with their glamorous Waltz performance. Nikki Bella, coming out from a very rough and fierce background due to her WWE career, really surprised me with her beautiful and glamorous performance with Artem. Seeing her dance and float like a butterfly so comfortably just had me in awe. And Artem supporting her and having her back really paved the way for her. They definitely are one of the power couples this season. Hence, I have them as my best couple this week. Can’t wait for week 3!...
