Summary

Giving my thoughts on Dancing With The Stars season 25 episode 5 and picking the best and worst pair of the week....

Description

Dancing with the stars – Week 5 Week 5: Disney Night of Dancing with the stars consisted of absolute and utter brilliance from all the contestants compared to the first 4 weeks of average performance from them. Disney Night was absolutely fantastic! It is definitely by far my favorite week and it is going to be hard to top that! I found everything to be great - from the colorful themes to the beautiful, fun elegant dresses! Week 5 consisted of Jazz, Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep. These are actually my favorite type of dance genre and I’ve watched and practiced Waltz myself for the past couple of years so I can quite fairly say when there’s a good performance or a bad performance. And honestly, I found most of the couples did an exceptional job this week. I felt they all worked harder and put their 110% on the stage because after the first 4 weeks they all probably know that impressing the 3 judges is no easy task! And hopefully they all continue the same performance as this week and don’t slack off. Even though I mentioned that all of them did a brilliant job; I did think that one of the couple were just par. I felt Derek and Sharna were that couple this week and I am definitely not disappointed that they were the ones to get booted off this show! After watching mostly all the couples perform some spectacular dance routines in week 4, I just automatically expected more as the show went on. And unfortunately. Nick and Peta’s quickstep routine wasn’t that great and I just needed more from them. They didn’t really have me in awe like how the other couples did. It wasn’t all horrible but at the same time it wasn’t that great or catchy for me. Their dance routine was way too slow and a bit boring to be honest. I kind of just wanted it to get over. Their moves were a bit off and definitely not synchronized. I felt Nick was a bit nervous and started slowing down on his pace towards the middle of their routine. But even with all that going on I think Peta did a good job.

For me, Jordan Fisher and Linsey Arnold’s Foxtrot routine just simply took my breath away. I think they are definitely a couple to look out for this season! Their moves were so intact and synchronized that after that routine it just left in awe! I was so impressed by it that I had to look it up in YouTube after the show ended. It was just a very beautiful performance! They definitely deserved the full points. I have said it in week 1 and I am going to say it again, Jordan and Lindsey are definitely a couple to look out for this season! I feel that their chemistry is out of this world and they clearly showed it this week with their glamorous and outstanding performance. They definitely are one of the power couples this season. Hence, I have them as my best couple this week. Can’t wait for week 6!...
