Giving my thoughts on Dancing With The Stars season 25 episode 8 and picking the best and worst pair of the week....

Description

Dancing with the stars – Week 8 Week 8: The Quarter Finals of Dancing with the stars consisted of absolute and utter brilliance from all the contestants. Just likes the previous few weeks, this week I personally felt the contestants performed implicitly outstanding. It is the quarter finals and things are definitely getting heated up. The contestants had to perform 2 types of dancing performances since the number of contestants have gone down to less than half. For week 8, the contestants had to do one unlearned dance and one trio dance and I must say the trio dance always gets me excited. This week consisted of Quickstep, Waltz, Jive and Salsa. These are actually my favorite type of dance genre and I’ve watched and practiced Waltz myself for the past couple of years so I can quite fairly say when there’s a good performance or a bad performance. And honestly, I found most of the couples did an exceptional job this week. I felt they all worked harder and put their 110% on the stage as they all probably know that impressing the 3 judges is no easy task! And hopefully they all continue the same performance as this week and don’t slack off. Even though I mentioned that all of them did a brilliant job; I did think that one of the couple were just par. I felt Terrell and Cheryl were that couple this week and I am definitely not disappointed that they were the one to get booted off this week! After watching their first performance which was simply stunning, I automatically presumed their next performance would be even better as I expected more from them. And unfortunately, Terrell and Cheryl’s second performance didn’t live up to the hype such as the first one. I just needed more from them. They didn’t really have me in awe like how the other couples did. It wasn’t all horrible but at the same time it wasn’t that great or catchy for me. Their second dance routine with the three of them was way too slow and a bit boring to be honest. I kind of just wanted it to get over. Their moves were a bit off and definitely not synchronized. I felt Terryl was a bit nervous and started slowing down

on her pace towards the middle of their routine. But even with all that going on I think Cheryl and Kelly did a pretty decent job. For me, Jordan and Lindsey’s performance this week simply took my breath away. Both their routines were phenomenal! The trio with Corbin Bleu (I must say it was a pleasure to see him back!) was very nice, beautiful and elegant and was simply fantastic to watch! I think they are definitely a couple to look out for this season! Their moves were so intact and synchronized that after that routine it just left in awe! I was so impressed by their salsa performance that I had to look it up in YouTube after the show ended. It was just a very beautiful performance! They definitely deserved the full 30 points (both of the dances deserved it)! I have said it in week 1 and I am going to say it again, Lindsey and Jordan are definitely a couple to look out for this season! I feel that their chemistry is out of this world and they clearly showed it this week with their glamorous and outstanding performance. They definitely are one of the power couples this season. Hence, I have them as my best couple this week. Can’t wait for the semis in week 9!...
