Summary

Giving my thoughts on Dancing With The Stars season 25 episode 3 and picking the best and worst pair of the week....

Description

Dancing with the stars – Week 3 Week 3: Guilty Pleasure Night of Dancing with the stars consisted of absolute and utter brilliance from all the contestants compared to the average performances performed from week 1 and 2. Week 3 introduced one of my favorite dance genre: jazz, which I was extremely excited for as I’ve watched and practiced Jazz myself for the past couple of years so I can quite fairly say when there’s a good performance or a bad performance. And honestly, I found most of the couples did an exceptional job this week. I felt they all worked harder and put their 110% on the stage because after the first 2 weeks they finally know impressing the 3 judges is no easy task! And hopefully they all continue the same performance as this week and don’t slack off. Even though I mentioned that all of them did a brilliant job; I did think that one of the couple were just par. I felt Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko were that couple this week and could definitely improve next week onwards (well that is unless they get booted off!). After watching mostly all the couples perform some spectacular and interesting dance routines here in week 3, I just automatically expected more as the show went on. Sasha and Gleb came in and from their previous weeks I just felt I needed more from them. They didn’t really have me in awe like how the other couples did. Sasha and Gleb performed a Jazz dance routine which wasn’t horrible but at the same time it wasn’t that great or catchy for me. Their dance routine was way too slow and a bit boring to be honest. It was quite embarrassing to watch. Their moves were definitely off and not synchronized to the bit. I felt that Sasha was not that comfortable with jazz as it requires a lot of patience and I feel like they haven’t had enough time to actually practice enough to get comfortable with each other. But even with all that going on I think Gleb did a good job.

For me, Lindsey Sterling and Mark Ballas simply stole the show this week! Their pajama – wearing dance routine simply took my breath away. They had me deceived right from the beginning. I actually believed that they were lying down and rolling around flat on their backs to the bed and later did they show that they were doing all this while they were standing up. I was just in absolute awe at that moment! It was just a very beautiful performance! I have said it in week 1 and I am going to say it again, Lindsey and Mark are definitely a couple to look out for this season! I feel that their chemistry is out of this world and they clearly showed it this week with their glamorous and outstanding performance. They definitely are one of the power couples this season. Hence, I have them as my best couple this week. Can’t wait for week 4!...
