Dear Miss Nur Amalina, I am writing this email to seek your approval to set up a recreation room. The objective of the recreation room is to help staff de-stress for better general well-being. The room that my team and I would like to use is the unused room. It will be decorated with some real trees and a simple indoor waterfall. The activities to be carried out in the room is some table games and a karaoke set. With regard to the funding, we are hopeful that the company will provide RM10, 000 and we plan to have RM15, 000 from sponsorship. The detailed budget proposal will be forwarded to the finance department when we get your approval. We will spread the information about the room through WhatsApp group. Miss Ain from the HR department proposed that we set up three main committees namely the Planning Committee, Marketing and Promotions Committee and the Finance Committee. We will update you on the specific duties after our next meeting. Once the proposal is approved, we will meet again to discuss the details of the event. We look forward to your positive response.
