Enrichment Activity 3 Evolution of the Universe There are the questions about creation of the universe that have been puzzling everyone since the beginning of the time, and have led to some pretty wild and interesting theories. Today, the agreement among scientists, astronomers and cosmologists is that the Universe as we know today was created in a huge explosion which didn’t only created the majority of matter, but the physical laws that control our ever-expanding cosmos. This is known as The Big Bang Theory. This theory was born of the observation that other galaxies are moving away from our own at great speed, in all directions, as if they had all been driven by an ancient explosive force. The basics of the Big Bang theory are justly simple. In short, the Big Bang hypothesis states that all of the present and past matter in the Universe came into existence at the same time, roughly 13.8 billion years ago. During that time, all matter was compressed into a very tiny ball with unbounded density and intense heat called a Singularity. Suddenly, the Singularity began expanding, and the universe as we know it began. It is interesting to learn about the universe where we belong. History of Universe is quite unique, because scientists were trying to prove different things about the Universe. Like the distance from the sun to earth, moon to earth etc. Which gave birth to different theories in the world of science. For many years, many scientists did research about the universe, like Galileo, Einstein and many others. They did so many research about the Universe. After so many research, the theory of Heliocentric proved that the Sun is in the center of the universe. Still that time technology was not good enough to improve the research. In the evaluation time, many scientists brought the different theories to research more about the Universe and the matters. They discovered the distance between the one galaxy to other, Sun to the earth, and the different planets. They began to measure the long distance into light years. Some brought the theory of the redshift and blue shift in which, Redshift indicates the starts are being farer/ longer than earlier and the blue shift indicate the shorter distance between stars and earth. And these somehow connects to a point where it says that because of this reason the Universe can collapse. However, the Lord, the most creative being in the universe has created this world without numbers. Even though the Universe is really big and it has lots of mystery behind it but there is nothing which is greater than God. And universe was created by him and if needs to be destroyed then it’ll be by his will. He is superior, we are his loving children and I believe that there’s a great plan of my heavenly father behind all of this. By knowing this Universe and learning more about it I was able to increase my testimony about the creation and the Plan of Heavenly Father. (506)...
