My personal beliefs of my worldview development began as a child learning the influences of the lessons and the viewings that were taught to me by not only my peers but also the environment I grew up in. For as I got older the framework of my perception and vision on how I viewed and interpreted the world, the way I react to certain things, and how my behaviors reflected on how I encounter situations that are happening around me have always continued to shift and evolve based on the hardship that I have faced in my childhood experiences. Everyone has a different worldview on how they view the biblical means when it comes to the evolution of psychology and how it relates to themselves. As a child, I knew the basics and had believed but never fully understood the full meaning of what it meant to be a Christian. Today, I am still learning and developing my vision of my worldview and what it means with my own meaning and through biblical approaches. As I continue my walk of faith, I am still learning to understand the means of how I see things, interpret, process, and maneuver around any situation that I have encountered has been developed. When it comes to others, I continue to redirect my focus and worldview to develop a better understanding of other's beliefs apart from my own. Evolutionary psychology is the study of behaviors in which humans today are better understood when thinking of the context when humans were early evolved. For theoretical approaches regarding psychology are an attempt when explaining mental and psychological traits. These traits include perception, memory, and or language. Adaptations can also serve as a functional effect to natural selection. With Darwin’s theory, I believe that not just with all living species, but including us humans have arrived in a contemporary biological form within a historical process that has involved and evolved through ancestral and inheritable changes. The textbook mentions moral relativism, for it states its basic knowledge that the truth is based on an individual’s belief of what they think is true. For it is their own opinion and not one right or wrong way of thinking when it comes to values and their purpose (George et al., 2020). For I see this to be evolved around both emotional and intellectual modifications that support and represent the human psychological natures. Its approach in psychology has only revolved around the attention of an individual’s genetics and biology. The textbook also mentions the forebrain and its important structure and it is connected to explaining the developments how they impact one’s behaviors, thoughts, and feelings (George et al., 2020). For there is more to an individual’s functions of development like the human brain. My general theory is that when someone has a general thought of what a worldview is then they can build and understand the concepts of what

a worldview means by the insights around them. With my knowledge and reasoning between my worldview and evolutionary psychology is that I do find them compatible due to similarities with views they uphold of an individual’s development. For overlooking both at the same time they share habitual principles in the fluences of how an individual goes about their life using genetics. Some examples may include that these aspects can come from their religious beliefs, peers, environment, etc. These influences can affect the way a person collects and undertakes information, how their process of decision making is influenced, and how their life goals. Just like any other theory research no matter how good and or appreciated it can be evolutionary psychology has its pros and cons. Some strengths I have obtained is that evolutionary psychology has provided us all with different perspectives when it comes to studies and in how we interpret and understand the development of the human mind. For it molds how we make decisions, react to certain emotions, how we interact with situations, understand values, and the meanings of life. The weaknesses I have noticed is the criticism that it holds on people and how it’s generated. For there are countless amounts of arguments and opinions of who’s right and who’s wrong when it comes to testability of supporting hypotheses makes it rather more difficult to support any of the arguments. In relation that evolution is occurring over periods of time and it still is.
