I really enjoyed watching this video and it enlightened me even more than I ever knew about the effects of sugar on my body and how the food industry targets us. I would say my main take aways are to read the labels and make sure you really know what your eating. If it says low fat it usually mean added sugar.

Does this influence your future choices for food? For sure! I have been trying to eat better anyway and this just helps me realize even more the importance of fresh fruits and vegetables and non-processed foods.

What are your thoughts on sugar as a precursor to fatness? I think it is absolutely ruining society and our eating habits! What really hit me is when they did the experiment with the rats and the cocaine and sugar water. That was crazy to me to see that the rats were more addicted to the sugar water than they were to the cocaine. That’s just extra proof to me on the effects of sugar and on our bodies....
