There are two effects of social media and internet to the producer and consumer of popular culture, the positive effects and the negative effects. The the positive effects on the part of the producer, because internet and social media is a big place to share popular culture there will be a lot of people who will patronize the product or the type of popular culture they are doing or advertising, in this way they will gain a lot of followers and customers that will buy their product. More followers more profit for them. Once there is positive effect, there is also negative effects on the part of the producer.
