Arguably remind of the fear murder camps of the second world war, deciding the death of millions has become a matter of routine in the world nowadays. Abortion is the rationalized removal of a human life from existence. Some scenarios in which abortion is used to maintain one's way of life are youngster being pregnant and raped. But then, instead of aborting baby why do not the mothers use another alternative such as adoption or give the baby to a friend or those who do not have an opportunity to have a baby. There are so many people that do not see the effect of abortion . It is a very dangerous offence that can affect family and community and the most important thing is the fetus itself and that is the reason abortion should be illegal. Who gives us the right to decide who should die and who should live as it is all God’s decision. Thus, abortion should be eliminated as it affects in term of women’s psychologically and emotionally, physically and every human being has the right to live. Firstly, abortion can give huge impacts to women’s health and put them at risk as women who aborted are susceptible to psychological risks. This can be seen in the British Journal of Psychiatry, published a 2011 meta-analysis where the mental health problems among women who had undergone abortion increased 81 percent, and the incidence of psychological problems are nearly 10 percent and mostly related to abortion (Stark,2013). He mentioned that they also suffered emotional problems such as anxiety, depression, drug use and suicidal behavior. Furthermore, one of the risks are women are likely to feel emotionally disturbed after an abortion. Based on (Jerman,2014), the majority of pregnant women in America which contributed to 21 percent chose to terminate their pregnancies every year suffered awful and long period of trauma as consequences of unfounded claims from anti planning activists despite having related finding from the 1980s to today. This mythical occurrence is likely called “postabortion trauma,” or “post-abortion survivor syndrome”. Next, women may face serious physical damages after an abortion. Abortion may actually be dangerous to women as they will be facing serious medical condition. According to Giorgi (2016), septic shock can occur when blood pressure slope to a hazardously low level after an infection to women’s pelvic. It will be malefic if we do not it treat rapidly, as it can cause organ failure such as kidney failure and liver failure. In addition, any medical or surgery procedure also puts women at high-risk for septick shock. This is because the medical devices can antedate the bacteria once the devices are interjected into women’s body. The longer the devices are in your
body, the higher risk for infection you will get. Based on Reardon (2018), he explained women that had undergone abortion have higher tendency to suffer from breast cancer and they are easily exposed to cervical cancer. Based on the study, women that had gone through abortion once will face the tendency of cervical cancer compared to the non-aborted women. This can be proven how harmful the side effect after an abortion from woman to woman. Lastly, abortion should not be legalized as no one has right to take another man’s life without any valid reasons. Abortion is against human right are one of the main reasons that abortion should not be legalized. It is stated in Article 1 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Right states “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights”. It is said that all human beings should be given a chance to live his life as who know he might be the one that can give benefit to our world. According to Ker (2014), from the development stage, the unborn child has a basic right to live at this stage freely from the harmful chemical effect. A preborn child could be a person with potential to survive and live normally as other child. Next, fetus is a person so abortion is the deliberate killing of an innocent person. People call the baby as a fetus and refer it as “innocent angel” as a mean not susceptible by the sins of the world and based on the study, they believe that live of the human starts at conception (Gipson, Hirz, Avila 2011). According to Gipson, Hirz, Avila (2011), many of the society said that when a person has undergone abortion, she has taken a life of a person and the one is facing the consequences of abortion is the baby itself not the mother. There are some of the societies are against the abortion but they agreed some of the women have undergone abortion in the certain situation with the advice of the doctor.
In conclusion, we must against abortion as it can give bad impacts to affected people in abortion, it can also give huge impacts to women’s health emotionally and psychologically. Next, if we are legalizing abortion it can also affect the physical body of the women as the procedure to abort the baby is really harsh. Last but not least, abortion must not be legalized to pursue the justice, freedom and health!
