Tofu

Tofu, originated in China is one of the foods made from Soybean by using the soymilk curd. So, it is most likely a cheese made from soymilk. After collecting the curd from soymilk, it is pressed into blocks to give different textures and voila! Your tofu is ready. As the core ingredient is Soy milk, Tofu is a high protein source for plant-based food. A 100gm amount of Tofu provides you with 76 calories, 4.8gm Fat, 8gm Protein, 1.9gm Carbs, 7mg Sodium, 130mg Calcium, Manganese, Selenium, Magnesium, copper, Iron, Zinc, etc. Tofu delivers all the nine essential amino acids for your body.
