Description

When creating my resume with the Career Development Center, I luckily did not have to fix much. Utilizing what I learned at GBA 301 Orientation, I was able to put my resume together in the way explained. The feedback from the Career Development Center was fantastic. When first submitting my resume, I received a confirmation email letting me know the name of the individual who would be reviewing it. I then received an email from the individual reviewing my resume, to let me know they were currently working on mine. In only a couple of days I received final changes needed to be made to my resume, and was given instruction on what to do once I made the changes. This exercise tremendously aided my ability to talk about myself in a way that is comfortable and flows well together. “Tell me about yourself” can kill an interview if the interviewee is not prepared for that question. I am grateful that question was included, as well as other questions centering around bragging about yourself. Few people feel comfortable doing it, but you must believe you are the best of the batch of potential employees. Learning how to express that fact is something I will be forever grateful to InterviewStream for improving....
