The three journalists who died for Covid-19 infections are Humayun Kabir Khokon, newspaper editor of Somoyer Alo; Mahmudul Hakim Apu, senior sub editor of Somoyer Alo; and Aslam Rahman, crime reporter of Bhorer Kagoj.Humayun Kabir Khokon's wife Sharmin Sultana Rina, Mahmudul Hakim Apu's wife Arifa Sultana and Aslam Rahman's wife Fatema Rahman received the support at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 within the capital.Expressing gratitude to Bashundhara Group, Sharmin Sultana Rina said that the family was really grateful to the corporate for the resource during this situation. Briefing journalists, News24 Chief Executive Naem Nizam said Bashundhara Group again proved that the corporate was beside the people.

"Bashundhara Group director Sayem Sobhan Anvir extended support to the families of coronavirus victim journalists on humanitarian ground," he added.
