It measures to how many people are suffering from a particular condition in a given period of time U5MR is the number or rate of infant’s deaths from birth between to their fifth birthday (1000 per live births) Burden of disease measure the impact of disease or injuries but it specially measure the gap between the current health situation and an ideal situation where everyone lives up to an old age free of disability and diseases DALY is a measure of burden of disease. One DALY equals one year of life lost due to premature death and a life lost due to disability Incidence is the number or proportion of new cases of a particular disease or condition at a given period of time Prevalence is the number or proportion of cases of a particular condition or disease that are present in the population at a given period of time Maternal mortality is a rate which measures the number of mothers deaths of 42 days of pregnancy after giving birth or termination.
