Gregory Blackstock is regarded as a person with unique skills because he has an autistic condition which is related to his desire to observe, classify and memorize. From my point of view, the most curious thing is the detail in the drawing and the precision that reveal much more than just one drawing. Just by reading some texts about him, I realize that Blackstock is not a simple amateur who paints whatever comes to his mind. He has something unique that characterizes him, which is his astonishing method and unique style. Despite having that disadvantage, he has a unique ability. Moreover, his constant curiosity was his strength from the beginning to be considered an expert. He acquired these skills when he imagined long lists all the time. In his head, he created details of many different subjects: species of birds, types of vans, Christmas lights, vertical constructions from all over the world, radishes, hammers, scales of musical notes. According to his possibilities, he began to make illustrations with classifications of objects and living beings. He drew with his free hand, without even the help of a ruler, and used the simple colors of the children's colors from a box of paints. In short words, he predicts every detail.
