I believe the purpose of my artifact is to represent a nation united as one. The reasoning behind the colors honestly makes me appreciate our freedom so much more than I already did. I believe with the meaning behind what the flag stands for the creator did achieve their purpose as our nation proudly displays our flag, to exhibit feelings of patriotisms, nationalism, and unity.

The American Flag represents freedom, patriotism, and independence for all Americans. In the history aspect of reflecting American culture the American flag represents in such ways; the stripes represent 13 colonies and the stars represent the 50 states of the Union.
