HUM/115 WEEK 3 DQ15 Wk3 Discussion: Gamescape In the GameScape for this week, we were introduced to a tool for evaluating our sources of information: the Doubletalk Goggles. What did you think of this tool? If the Doubletalk Goggles were real, how would you use them?
.
ANSWER
During the week three gamescapes we were introduced to sources of information and what i would think would be a great invention in the doubletalk goggles. Ive enjoyed every week but this weeks i hit out of the park and i hope others do to. I liked that the goggles had you question sources of information to find it as fact or fiction. Then depending on how you seen to ask the questions determined the facts. For the last few weeks now i have been looking at situations differently such as looking for facts, but this opened my eyes to the things i don't pay much attention to are some of the details. I would use the goggles sparingly and only during situation where i might be concerned if the person speaking as a history of telling false information. The Gamescapes tutorials keep getting more and more interesting. I would love to have the double talk Goggles as a tool to help me become a better critical thinker. The best feature of the double talk goggles was that it would do the analysis for you and bring up all kids to statistics which helped me get access to the relevant data. It also helped me to scan the messenger's body language for any kind of subtle hints to see if they are nervous or anxious (which happens when someone is lying). This tool will be handy for me to become a better critical thinker....
