TRAINING DESIGN I.

Identifying Information

A. Title: A 5- Day Inset 2021: Renewing Commitment and Adopting a Prototype Modification in the Effective Implementation of Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan – Learning Delivery Modalities B. Venue: Virtual Platform via Google Meet C. Proponent/s: Dr. Carlo Erba M. Pacinos – Chairman Mrs. Arsenia E. Magundayao – Vice Chairman D. Participants: Principal, Head Teachers, Master Teachers, Teachers, Non-Teaching Personnel, and Resource Speakers E. TWG: Head and Master Teachers F. Total : 97 plus 5 invited Facilitators /Trainers/Resource Speakers G. Duration: 5 days ( September 6-10, 2021) II.

Rationale:

In adherence to Department Order 029 s2021 known as the School Calendar of Activities SY 2021-2022 and Republic Act 10533 which mandates upholding and recognizing the significance of teachers’ and employees continuous personal and professional development and advancement Lusacan National High School shall conduct a 5-Day In- Service Training (INSET) with the theme “A 5- Day INSET 2021: Renewing Commitment and Adopting a Prototype , Modification in Effective Implementation of Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan- Learning Delivery Modalities on September 6- 10, 2021. The school shall seek approval from IATF, preceding to the conduct of this activity to ensure minimum health protocols is enforced. This INSET aims to equip all participants with competencies practicable to the school’s well considered modalities as it shifts to adopt blended learning to continuously deliver quality instruction. Likewise, it will underpin holistic being of all personnel by cascading the Provision of Psycho-social First Aid In addition to, essentials in action research writing and Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP). Also, it will re-orient them with Deped policies, legal bases on school funds and all other funds, Alternative Work Arrangement, load and ancillary, and norms of transparency, ethical and accountability governance (TEAGOV). The 5-day INSET shall have 6 resource speakers: 6 invited resource speaker/s. Day 5 is allotted for demonstration teaching to familiarize themselves in the use of blended learning modalities particularly in TV and Radio Broadcast Instruction, and introduction to Special Program for Foreign Language Korean instruction and best practices.

1. Overcome challenges in implementation of BE LCP-LDM through agreed commitment and create acceptable mindset to perform duties and responsibilities as reflected in AWA, and teaching load and ancillary. 2. Demonstrate learned concepts and competencies about blended learning particularly on Radio and TV Broadcast Instruction through demonstration teaching, active participation during discussion. 3. Optimize skills to organize and use appropriate teaching and office resources in the delivery of learning goals through an agreed and common mechanism and/or process in accomplishing modes of verification (MOVs). 4. Produce CIP and action research proposals at the end of the INSET and published action research (3-5 months) and CIP within the SY 2021-2022. 5. Introduce Special Program for Foreign Language Korean instruction and best practices. 6. Maintain the holistic being of teachers particularly one’s physical and mental health. IV. Working Committee:

Methodology : The training will have the following schemes:

1. Online registration a day before the training starts. Participants has to sign also in a hard copy registration form documentation (MOVs) and for liquidation purpose. 2. 3.

Virtual/online mode of training shall be utilized. A resource speaker shall be limited to discuss assigned topic within 1 to 2 hours including its 10 to 15 minutes question-and-answer, write/workshop.

All participants’ outputs shall be used as and/or for instructional delivery and for future references i.e. action research, assessment, profiling, daily reflections/ insights of the day etc. 5. Demonstration teaching shall be: 5.1. Made among pre-selected teachers. 5.2. Each demonstration shall be 30 to 60 minutes including set-up, introduction etc. 6. The class/group participants in the demo-teaching shall observe: 6.1. Digital application shall be applied during the online demonstration teaching with at least fifteen (15) pre-selected learners per class. 6.2. A different set of learners shall be used for every demonstration. Lesson exemplar and WHLP shall be submitted in a softcopy on the demonstration teaching day. 6.3. All demonstration teachings shall be recorded for future references. (See attached Training Matrix for the demonstration teachers, the grade level, subject and topics.) 7. Undertime/irregular hour/s of attendance/no attendance, and no certificate of participation will be strictly applied. Failure/incomplete of attendance shall be determined as subject for a new set of similar training/s by the same host and speakers. 8. An evaluation link will be answered by teachers after each training day/session. 9. LSA/Para-teachers or volunteers are welcome in this training unless approved by the Principal. 10. Recording of INSET shall be done by the committee for future use/references of teachers and personnel.
