TWO TYPES OF INVITATION LETTERS? ● Formal ➢ informal audiences, it must follow dignified form, tone, or style in agreement with an established norm, custom, or values (Websters, 2012) ➔ Examples: Wedding Invitations and Graduation Ceremony Invitation ● Informal ➢ In Informal invitations where the audience is your family, friend, etc. that given to them personally. ➔ Example: Birthday Invitation EXAMPLES OF THE INVITATIONS ➔ Birthday Invitation ➔ Business Letter TWO BASIC STYLES OF BUSINESS LETTERS ● Block form ➢ The most common layout of a business letter is known as block format. Using this format,the entire letter is left justified and single-spaced except for a double space between paragraphs. ● Indented Form ➢ Indented Paragraphs Blocked Paragraphs Date, signature, and closing begin at the horizontal center of the page.
