Part Three: One Page Summary of System Changes with SQL Server Installation I have now installed both SQL Server 2012 full version and the express version. The differences I can tell simply from the face value of the installation is that the full version is much bigger than the express version. When I first downloaded the express version, I had to search for different software in order to use it for my course. With the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 full installation, it has all of the software I could imagine I will need and then some. Looking past the size of the initial installation, the Server Management Studio looks the same. Also one of my primary complaints with the use of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Windows 10 is that if there are any updates, it will not allow the connection to the server and this is no different with the full installation. Not all updates cause this, but the cumulative updates do. When looking to my task manager processes tab, I noticed a few instances of Microsoft SQL Server running in the background. While they are not pulling very significantly on my resources, it is interesting to see it loaded and running in the background after a reboot before the program has been loaded. I find this to be from necessary programs activating on startup. Conclusion This program is a very thick installation, and this is evident by the file size for the download. My experience is that the dowloaded installation file was 4 GBs, which is something I have seen with other installations of programs that have more functionality like Adobe Creative Suite programs. This is not a huge drain on resources, my computer meets the mininum

MODULE ONE CRITICAL THINKING requirements to utilize the program, but it is very noticeable when I have loaded the application and attempt to open another program like Spotify. This is easy to work with and I look forward to learning more about database management.
