FR1 “Enrichment Learning” Activities For this week, you have the opportunity to boost your grade by completing some French enrichment learning activities. You have the option of choosing any activities from this choiceboard, but you cannot complete more than THREE activities. Therefore, choose wisely which activities you would like to do. All these activities are optional and will count as extra-credit in the “Homework” section of the gradebook (20% of your grade). All links should be active but if you have any difficulties accessing the material, please let me know. Overall, make sure to submit everything onto Google Classroom (unless I specified otherwise). Complete the Google Slides presentation Faire les Magasins. You may need to make a copy in order to write on the presentation. If you need help to access the presentation, email me. Once you finish, upload it to Google Classroom.

Practice speaking French by answering a few questions on Flipgrid. Once you have finished answering, email me so that I know to check your video.

Go on a Virtual Tour to the famous Louvre Museum. Describe the art in the Museum. Can you identify any of the art pieces? Describe the people: How are they dressed? Lastly, would you like to visit this museum, and why. Written response must be at least a paragraph. Additional points will be given if it is in French. Use WordReference to find words that you do not know. Turn in to GG CL

Create flashcards with the 25 most challenging vocabulary words using Quizlet (Search on Google if the link does not work); vocabulary is on p. 298-299 your textbook. Include an image on each Flashcard. Lastly, make the set visible to the public and share the link with me on GG CL. Here is an example of one of my Quizlet sets.

Click on this document of French Films that can be found on Netflix, YouTube, or Amazon. Watch a film and write a critique; must be at least a paragraph. It may be in English, but extra credit will be given if it is in French (must be in your own words). Turn in to GG CL.

Create a Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS) using Google Slides. You have creative freedom for your storytelling, but it must be related to our theme “Le Shopping”. You must have at least 15 qualitative slides. Each slide must include an image to help illustrate the message. Include comprehension questions at the end. Must be entirely in French! You are going on a virtual gallery walk to review the fashions at the 2018 NRJ Music Awards in France. Using this document, read the description of each outfit to determine who is being described. Next, write your opinion of the outfit using an adjective. Have fun! Turn in to GG CL.

Using Popplet, create a concept map of the main tourist attractions in Paris that you see on this Virtual Tour. Categorize the main attractions and indicate on your concept map the major details. Make sure to include images. Here is an example. Turn in to GG CL.
